The Syracuse Nationals Week Road Tour sponsored by the Right Coast Association and the Syracuse Convention and Visitors Bureau begins July 9, 2017. We have a full week of activities planned in and around the Syracuse area as excitement builds up to the huge Syracuse Nationals event. Our first drivers’ meeting of the week and a kick-off party will take place on Sunday evening, July 9, at 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Liverpool, which is both the headquarters of the event and our headquarters the entire Syracuse Nationals Week Road Tour. During the week we have a full schedule of activities planned. We will be visiting the Northeast Classic Car Museum in Norwich, New York, and make a stop at Tucci Hot Rods in Utica. We will take a day trip to the Finger Lakes region and visit Watkins Glen International and the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum, which contains a great collection of vintage airplanes and motorcycles. While in the Finger Lakes area we will visit some of the many wineries. We will spend a day in the city of Syracuse visiting local museums and tourist attractions. On Tuesday evening we will have opportunity to attend the classic rock Foreigner/Cheap Trick concert at the new Lakeview Amphitheater across from the fairgrounds. Many of the Road Tour participants are spending the week at the fairgrounds’ camping area and we will have some of our morning drivers’ meeting at the fairgrounds. As always we will have a hospitality tent and special parking at the event and will be special guests at the awards dinner on Saturday evening. We are working on some additional visits during the week and you will be updated via email as these plans come together. As usual you will receive a complete and detailed schedule with maps at the beginning of the week. If you have any questions, please contact us: [email protected] 800-664-1362
