Here at Hotel Tirol, a perfect winter’s day starts when you open your eyes and take your first glance at the magnificent white peaks outside your window. Enjoy a generous breakfast experience with everything you could possibly wish for to start the day. Then time to get going – the mountains are just waiting to be ‘conquered’. After some glorious fun on the slopes, a break for lunch. Make an advance reservation at the Crystal Cube at 2,600 metres and you can take in a breathtaking, jaw dropping 360˚ panorama whilst enjoying the finest finger food. Another must-do is a visit to the gourmet restaurant Zirbenhütte. With their ‘Genuss 2100’ menu you can choose from 25 individual components and let yourself be transported on a remarkable journey of flavours.

For your afternoon snack we will welcome you back to Hotel Tirol. Make the most of the last sunbeams of the day on our terrace – according to our guests the most beautiful in Fiss – and take time to relax and chill out.

Then the time is right for a feel-good cosseting massage which will get you in the right mood for the evening ahead. To avoid disappointment please book your treatments at the time of booking your room.

Tyrol’s Ski Dimension – created with the merger of the ski regions of Fiss, Ladis & Serfaus – is a large scale ski region ranging from 1,200 to 2,820m and offering infinitely more than just a shared ski pass. The range of slopes here on the sunny plateau is ideal for beginners, advanced skiers and for the entire family: the wide slopes with ample space – even for carving! – allow a fantastic skiing experience for all levels of ability.

➲ SLoPe imProvementS tHrougHout tHe Ski regionThe forest run in Serfaus has seen a grand scale adaptation to provide a highly attractive design – making it a striking and credible alternative to the south & midway downhill runs. One of the most important runs on the north side of Fiss – the Plazör run – was given a lavish extension this year and offers our guests a major improvement in terms of comfort. The narrow point and the steep section on the upper part of the existing slope are now smoothed, and the Plazör and Boden runs are now merged into one mega-wide piste – absolutely made for carving too.

➲ FeeL Free in FiSS-LAdiS-SerFAuS Starting this season, there are 10 ski routes for free riders and freestylers to choose from, plus 2 new parks – making a comprehensive selection together with the existing parks:

10 ski routes. With immediate effect demanding skiers and freeriders have a total of 10 ski routes at their disposal in Fiss-Ladis-Serfaus. Ski routes are ski runs which are marked, but not prepared and not controlled.

Beginners’ snow park Serfaus. Especially for our young snow stars, there is now a beginners’ snow park right next to the children’s skiing area on the Komperdell. Great kickers, mogul training runs, freestyle course, various boxes for sliding and new slacklines await.

Fun slope Fiss. Whilst creating the ‘new’ Plazör run on the north side of Fiss, a parallel fun slope was created too! Here children, teenagers and adults can all share in simultaneous fun. A mogul training run, small kickers and other surprises lie in wait along the piste to ensure a fun-filled descent!

➲ tHALewegThis new trail can be hiked winter and summer and leads from the Leithe Wirt restaurant to the Komperdell valley station.

In Fiss-Ladis-Serfaus at 1,400 to 2,000m above sea level, a total area of around 45,000sqm is reserved exclusively for children. In Serfaus the winter paradise is known as the Kinderschneealm and is located immediately below the Komperdell-bahn cable car middle station. In Fiss Bertas Kinderland is adjacent to the middle station of the Sonnenbahn cable car. 250 trained ski instructors teach children skiing and snowboarding in their native language with lots of fun and games. The method used to teach the ‘Ski & Snowboarding Eleven’ is called ‘gentle birth’. The special feature is that if a child does not like being taught, he or she is allowed to play or watch the

clowns. The children’s own ambition ensures that they will quickly catch up on what they have missed and still achieve their learning goal in a very short time.

There is also a phenomenal range of innovative and thoughtfully designed resources for children’s comfort and entertainment on the Kinderschneealm Serfaus, at the Murmlipark in Serfaus and in Bertas Kinderland Fiss-Ladis:

magic carpets, dinosaur forest, animal park, fairy tale village, Red Indian village, the Fisser Höhlenwelt cave world, kids’ stage, playground, fun toboggan run, racing runs, tubing areas, climbing frame, roundabout, an adventure course, children’s fun parks, a motor sledge course, Murmlitrail and Bärenpiste (multimedia adventure rides) as well as two restaurants especially for children. And if things get too cold or strenuous in the snowy white landscape, there are cosy little houses nearby where trained childcare staff ensure plenty of fun, games and encouragement.

The Crystal Cube. Fiss.A special gourmet address for heights of enjoyment never seen before: the Crystal Cube. Near the Z1 viewing platform at an altitude of 2,600m, a giant slanting cube stands in the landscape. From the outside it is completely mirrored so that no one can look inside, giving it an extra-terrestrial slant. But once you enter the cube the picture changes remarkably. The fully glazed exterior offers a fantastic 360˚ panorama of the Alpine winter world. The finest finger food is served – in all its variations (oysters with lime juice anyone? – by request only).

Allow three to four hours and let us delight and surprise you. The Zirbenhütte is easy to access with the Schönjochbahn and Schöngampbahn cable cars, or directly on skis. Sit at a table laid especially for you – take a deep breath and inhale the scent of the stone pine – your culinary journey starts here … Select your favourites from 25 components and the Zirbenhütte team will put your exclusive ‘Genuss 2100’ menu together. Just in case you should feel overwhelmed by all the choice, go for the surprise menu and the decision is out of your hands!

Sunrise Pezid. Serfaus.Rise and shine! Take the Masner Express up to the 2,770m high Pezid at the crack of dawn and enjoy the jaw-dropping views over the magnitude of the Tyrolean mountains at the very first light of dawn. A lavish mountain breakfast awaits at the Masner ski lodge. Fully refreshed you can then head straight onto the slopes, or take the Masner Express back to the Lazid and continue back down into the valley by cable car.

Magic Ladis. Ladis.Legend says that many moons ago a magician visited the village of Ladis and decided to repay the village for being so warmly received, hence he decided to scatter seeds which brought the village peace and prosperity. The beauty the magician bestowed upon the village attracted more and more visitors. This angered the giant Woden who lived in the ancient forests, leading to a battle between him and the magician.

Sunset Dinner Masner. Serfaus.When a fabulous day’s skiing comes to an end, a very special experience still awaits: sunset at the Masner! As the setting sun bathes the mountaintops in hues of red and darkness slowly descends, enjoy your aperitif in the panoramic bar. Put on a pair of cosy slippers during this stunning spectacle and enjoy delectable food and drink. Definitely an unforgettable experience and the most wonderful form of après-ski.
