If you haven’t taken the time to explore Vancouver’s Land Bridge, make a point to turn

it into a ‘must see’. This 40-foot-wide, earthen-covered bridge connects historic Fort Vancouver to the upbeat Columbia River waterfront, making it possible to start an afternoon learning Vancouver’s history and ending with a refreshing drink or meal on the waterfront watching boats sail by. While exploring the pedestrian bridge, you will stroll through landscapes of prairie, grassland and forest native plants, a rainwater collection system, and breathtaking artwork.

Are you looking for a nice family outing, or want to brush up on your history? Choose from

an audio tour, self-guided tour, or a guided-house tour at the Hudson’s Bay Company’s Fort Vancouver. This famous landmark was the headquarters and primary depot for fur trading operations and employed more people for agriculture than any other activity! This beautiful park welcomes visitors 360 days throughout the year, only being closed January 1, November 28, and December 24, 25, and 31. Enjoy a relaxing summer day walking through

conclude your outing exploring the Vancouver Land Bridge – make an entire day out of these two sites!

Fort Vancouver / Pedestrian BridgeBy Taylor Hammond

first impressions

While marketing a home can be expensive, professional photography and staging are

no longer just reserved for luxury homes. You and your realtor can’t afford not to budget the money to present your home in its best light. Your home is probably your single biggest investment and shining it up and presenting it correctly can net you thousands of additional dollars.

A color stylist can analyze room colors. A stager can rearrange or bring in new furniture to bring out the hidden beauty in a room. Most importantly, hire a professional photographer to take your listing photos. Aside from staging, the most important aspect of your marketing investment is professional photography.

With 85% of new buyers on the internet searching for their next home, a visually sharp marketing plan

home, proper lighting, composition and staging by a professional will showcase the home and provide the best framework for a quick sale.

your listing memorable. Think of your marketing as a Home Beauty Contest. Would Ms. America go out on the runway in PJ’s, slippers and no makeup? Of course not! Why would you choose to present your home in a poor light with no pampering? You want your home to be noticed by the judges! It needs to stand out from the competition.
