How 10 Minutes Can Save a Life

Dwell time (or contact time) is the amount of time a surface must remain visibly wet in order to kill pathogenic microorganisms.

1. Clean the surface. Remove the soils. You can't disinfect dirt.

2. Apply enough disinfectant to the surface so that it can remain visibly wet for ten (10) minutes. Think wet.

3. The surface must remain wet and remain undisturbed for ten (10) minutes. If you need to apply more, start the timer over.
