Windfall is a bar coded warehouse system built specifically for the moving and storage industry. All customer information is entered into the system through portable data collection devices, scanning bar codes, and importing. This means that you can be supplied with electronic reports in different formats (Excel, ASCII, Lotus, Access, Etc.) for all your storage.

Locations in the warehouse, inventory tags, work orders, and scan sheets are utilized by the mover to expedite warehouse activity. This in turn gives you assurance that your inventory is being tracked in great detail through its entire life within the warehouse. Plus, the process is being expedited through the use of automation.

Bar Code ReadabilityBy utilizing portable data collection devices that can scan up to 15 different types of bar codes, Windfall can read your existing barcodes and use the data. This means more accurate information for your records and the ability to cross reference inventory information.

Every customer has different data requirements for their inventory. Windfall allows for individual customer profiles to be created so that only the data needed is captured. Your profile is loaded onto the data collection device which allows the user to be prompted through the collection process. This makes sure you get the information you need.

Digital ImagingImagine how easy it would be to pick items out of storage by simply looking at a picture catalog. With the WINDFALL system, digital images can be attached to a single inventory item record. This allows you to feel more confident in ordering the delivery of items by using this visual identification.
