The deepest point is The depth is
10,911 meters!
I can't believe!
Amazing!!
This means the depth of Mariana trench islarger than the height of Mt.Everestthe highest mountain all over the warld.
The rate of ocean below the depth 6,500m occupying entire the ocean is only 2%.
An average depth of entire ocean is about 3,800 meters.
JAMSTEC has some vehicles which can dive to over 6,500m depth and more.
There are ever so many more marvelous places in the deep sea, where I haven't dived yet!

This is "SHINKAI6500" to support vessel.

I can see some trenches around Japan.
Yes, there is "Ryukyu Trench" near the Okinawa!
