The peplum, often described as a short and full flounce or the extension of a garment below the waist, is one of the hottest trends on the international runways this year. Peplum can accentuate a regular jacket or a dress, and add a quirky touch to an otherwise ordinary ensemble. Unlike many trends that are restricted only to the catwalks and worn only by fashionistas, this one is being embraced by many regular women because a flared ruffle attached to a bodice or a coat always manages to make a person look well put together. Style experts however suggest not trying this look if you don't want to draw attention to your waist, because any additional fabric in that area will add girth. But if you don't mind your waist being the focal point of your outfit, the definition and structure offered by a peplum can make a person look both curvy and fabulous. The best way to wear peplum is to make sure there are no colour clashes brought in by the peplum. It is therefore, best to use it in solid colours, rather than using a different print on your dress and another on the peplum. But you can use peplums with sequins, polka dots and graphic art if you want to draw attention to it. The best aspect of a peplum is the fact that it can help cover chunky thighs and is very figure friendly too. Women walking briskly for 210 minutes ormore per week had a lower stroke risk than inactive women but alsolower than those who cycled and did other higher-intensity workoutsfor a shorter amount of time, the journal Stroke reported. Nearly33,000 men and women answered a physical activity questionnairegiven once in the mid-1990s as part of a larger European cancerproject. Huerta and his team divided participants by gender, exercisetype and total time spent exercising each week, according to theDaily Mail. During the 12-year follow-up period, a total of 442 strokesoccurred among the men and women. 4 cups of tea daily cut stroke riskScientists who studied how consumption of black tea - the kind mostly drunk in the UK - related to strokes

found downing at least four cups every day lowered the chances of a brain blood clot by 21 percent, theDaily Mail reported. But drinking any less than that did not seem to have a beneficial effect. The findings, by scientists at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, come from a population studyinvolving nearly 75,000 men and women.Strokes kill around 200 people every day in the UK. Many more are left disabled and living in fear that a secondor even third attack could kill them. Around 85 percent of victims are affected by ischaemic strokes, where aclot travels to the brain and shuts off its blood supply. The rest are called haemorrhagic strokes, where a bloodvessel bursts in the brain, causing potentially fatal bleeding. Although numerous studies have highlighted theprotective effects of green tea on the brain, the evidence on black tea has been less conclusive. The Swedishteam studied 74,961 Swedish adults who were in good health when they signed up to a long-term health studyin 1997.Over the next ten years, just over 4,000 of the volunteers suffered a stroke, mostly ischaemic. As part of the study, researchers monitored tea drinking habits.Once they allowed for other factors that might determine stroke risk - such as whether volunteers smoked orhad high blood pressure - they found that four cups or more a day had a significant effect.British consumers get through an estimated 165 million cups every day of mostly black tea.It is packed with components called flavonoids that are thought to be good for the heart and brain.

Indian salon owners in LA,London, and Vancouver areraking in profits by luring mento shape their eyebrows andbeardlines, using a modesttechnique known back home as'threading'.

Indian-born Londonresident Pally Sandhu Pagliucais not complaining about therecession. And she has men whoworry about the shape of theireyebrows to thank. Theentrepreneur owns 23 BenitoBrow Bars — salons that offereyebrow-specific groomingservices — across London, andadmits, profits have grown bymore than 80 per cent in the lastthree years. At the Debenham'sbranch of Benito, 60 per cent of

clients are male. What hastraditionally been considered awomanly concern, shapely

eyebrows are growing irresistiblefor men too. And salon ownersof Indian origin across America,

Europe and Canada are offeringdreamy 'guybrows' using a desitechnique of plucking hair fromthe roots, that requires no morethan a cotton thread and someskill. Threading, say experts, hasits origins in India and CentralAsia (later finding favour in theFar East), with young girls in Iranthreading their faces at puberty.

Pally's husband andbusiness partner Marco Benitohas seen their male clienteledouble in two years. "Unlikewomen, most men aren't lookingfor arches. They walk in everymonth to shape their brows, takecare of excessive length and thinout the monobrow (bridgedeyebrow)."

Brows like English footballerDavid Beckham's and Britishcomedian Russell Brand's are hotfavourites, he says.

Windsor, Ontario: The growing importance of navigation systemsis not lost on Chrysler Group. Accordingly, the Company hasunleashed the power of its celebrated Uconnect system toaccommodate customers seeking a change in direction.

An industry-first, now Chrysler Canada dealers can activatenavigation functions in vehicles equipped with certain Uconnectsystems. Uconnect offers navigation capability, but not all customerschoose the option at the time of sale.

"Sometimes customers don't realize what they want until theyneed it," says MariosZenios, Vice President-Uconnect Systems andServices. "That's fine. We can help. With dealer-activated navigation,we are adopting a 'no-customer-left-behind' attitude."

The dealer-activated navigation will be initially available on the2013 Ram 1500 full-size pickup, SRT Viper and the 2014 Fiat 500L.

Because the necessary hardware is already resident in the

vehicle, dealer-activated navigation affords a major convenienceover portable devices, which create clutter and require charging orsmartphone data plans - or both.

Dealer-activated navigation boasts the same map data as pre-ordered systems, including:

" Points of interest" Junction views" Lane guidance" Intersection zoom" Trip programmingIn addition, dealer-activated navigation features turn-by-turn

audio instructions to further encourage drivers to keep their focuson the task at hand - driving.

Dealer-activated navigation bodes particularly well for used-car buyers, Zenios says.
