Making the magazine front cover.

•We decided to use this image because it was well lit and framed.

•We then decided to put the image in black and white. •We then used the brush

tool to make the background black so that it could match the background of the magazine.

• We couldn’t find any fonts that we liked on Photoshop so we decided to go www.dafont.com to find some fonts. Above is a font that we liked and considered using.

• We then inserted the picture onto the page of the magazine cover. Some of the models hairs stuck out awkwardly and didn’t blend in with the colour of the magazine. So, we used the smudge tool in order to blend the hairs in with the magazine.

• We added the names of films that have recently been released or will be released in the coming months to attract our audience and to make our magazine seem like it is up to date with new films.

•To create the 24 in title we used the gradient tool to create the different shades of red in the number.

• At the bottom of our magazine we decided to add in a barcode, issue number, website address and twitter account to make our magazine seem more realistic.

•We tried to feature articles on our magazine cover that would attract our audience. For example, we have an interview with Quentin Tarantino.
