How many college players are there?

In all there are 308 Colleges and 76 players Per Team and that equals to

23408 college players

Now, how many of those players make it to the NFL through the draft?

First we have to know how many teams are there

There are 32 teams in the NFL.

How many players get drafted every year to a team?

Approximately 8

Also assume there is about one walk on for each team.

That’s all equal to 32*8+32=288

Out of 23408 players only 288 get drafted to the NFL

That’s only about 1.2% of all college players!
