Below is an up-date on David & Carl! (Please do not repost any content of our newsletters on the internet)

Dear Friends

We have had the opportunity to reach out to so

many people after only 8 weeks of being in the

U.K. The extraordinary heatwave here has really

helped our ministry!

Please continue to pray for the many foreign &

local students we have spoken to in the Gardens

as well as others God has placed in our path. It

has been a real eye opener having spoken to

students from over 20 different nations so far.

Many are open but many are atheists. For them

to go from an atheist to an agnostic in our

conversations is a good start!

Right now, as we walk through the Gardens, over

50% of the students are from Arabic countries.

And there are an increasing amount living here

full-time. During the afternoons & evenings, there

are well over 600 students (conservative guess)

sitting in groups. It's also fun to see some of the

same groups we have already spoken to. Many

of them sit in the same spots every day which is

good for us!

Update on David & Carl!

Jason met with Carl (the homeless man) again,

and he is so close to getting saved. His girlfriend

died last year and their son is being looked after

by his mother a number of hours away. The

authorities also took his dog away which was his

best friend. He told Jason that he has really been

thinking about the things of God since he has

been meeting with him. He said that God must be

speaking to him as another Christian stopped his

car the other day, got out and shared Christ with

him also because he felt the need.

Our mini-van!! Thank you to everyone who

donated! We appreciate you all somuch! God is good!

Jason also spoke with Sarah (also homeless)

Carl's friend. She is so close as well! His friend

David, who is a believer, keeps encouraging him

to get saved. Please pray for this miracle! We

gave Carl & Sarah two self-inflating mattresses

that pack up really small so they can be carried

around (from Costco). They were so grateful to

be finally not sleeping on cardboard and also

gives them something to sit on. They get banned

from the city for 24hrs if they beg so please pray

for their situation. This has happened several

times even when they haven't been begging with

witnesses attesting to this. They are truly humble

people and when we offer to buy them food, they

ask for very little. Of course, we always get them

more. Life is tough on the streets.

Ben & Jack just went on a Christiancamp & loved it! All the kids loved

their American accents!
