Welcome, dear Colleague!

This User Guide is meant for you as a staff member of a Lufthansa Group company who has no access to eBase, i.e. the company’s intranet and its security functions. However, you require secured access to SuccessFactors “Learning”, a new Lufthansa Group’s Learning Management System offering a variety of group-wide relevant trainings, like Compliance, IT Security or Data Protection. The good news: Lufthansa Group Learning Management provides you with secured access by using the SAP Authenticator to verify your profile. This user guide assists you in equipping yourself with this Two-Factor Authentication.

What you needIn order to establish Two-Factor Authentication you need your company computer and a mobile device, either IOS (iPhone) or Android, both operation systems are working fine.

What you have to doFor employing the Two-Factor Authentication you need to go through a simple one-time processin order to finally access your SuccessFactors “Learning” account.

This instruction manual will guide you through some simple steps of accomplishing everything you need for authentication. What you must do now is to

1. download and install the SAP Authenticator App, either for IOS (iPhone) or Android 2. activate your Account – for this purpose you will receive an email that looks like this

If you have not received this email yet, please contact the Helpdesk at [email protected] and ask for assistance.

Because you have been registered by Lufthansa Group Learning Management, your personal data are prefilled. You just have to

After clicking Activate in Step 9 on this same Profile page the section Two-Factor Authentication opens. Scroll down again to 1 Two-Factor-Authentication

Take your Mobile Device, click the button 1 Scan QR Code which activates the scanner-camera**. Now scan the QR Code shown on your computer monitor at 2 Your Secret Key. Then the app will show your 3 Display Name, Account Name and the Secret Key in the form of a letter-digit-code. 4 Click to confirm.

Having scanned the QR Code, the display of the SAP Authenticator App switches and shows the first generated 1 Current Passcode. This 6-digit-Passcode is being generated approx. every 30 seconds.

Step 12 Enter Passcode from Mobile Device

Now insert a current passcode from your app into the 2 Passcode input box on the internet page of SAP Cloud Platform and click 3 Activate. As a result, your mobile device is registered and configured for Two-Factor Authentication.

Step 11 Scan QR Code and Get Passcode – iPhone Version

Take your Mobile Device, activate the button 1 Scan QR Code, then click 2 OK to activate the scanner-camera*. Now scan the QR Code shown on your computer monitor at 3 Your Secret Key (see Step 11). Next the app will show your Display Name and Account Name (Secret Key remains hidden) and you click 4 Done.With the next display you get your first 5 Current Passcode.

Now, proceed with a current passcode as described in Step 12

You want to scan the QR-Code, but it seems as if your IOS device’s camera does not exist? You do not need an extra QR-Scanner-App. Just check the 1 camera settings of your device as shown here and make sure you have activated your camera especially for the 2 scanning of QR-Codes.
