How to add Line to ZGEMMA

Compatible Model: Zgemma Star Star S/Star 2S/H1/H2S/ H2H ONLY

Pre-request:

1. PC/Laptop

2. Filezilla FTP Client (Download Link：https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client)

3. USB Wifi Dongle (Option 2) or RJ45 Network Cable (Option 1)

Steps To Go:

1. Plug the power cable, tuner cable, usb wifi dongle / network cable

2. Power on ZGEMMA Box and wait for loading

3. After loading into the menu screen, press the remote control “MENU” key

4. Click “Setup””System””Network””Device Setup”Choose Connection typeClick “Adapter

settings” (you won’t find any IP address as network is not set up)

5. For Ethernet, Choose “Network Wizard” , Press OK to activate, Change Use interface “Yes” (Option 1)

6. For Wifi, Choose “WLAN connection” ”Scan Wireless Networks”, select your router (Option 2)

7. Change Use interface to “Yes”, Go to “Encryption”,

8. Select your encryption type(WPA or WPA2 as usual, depend on your router setting), Type your Wifi

password into “Encryption Key”, press OK to activate

9. Go to “Adapter settings”, check the “IP Address” under “Current settings” (IP is blank if no Internet

connection)

10. Write down the “IP Address”

11. Please download and open Fillezilla (See Photo 1)

12. Under “Host”, type the IP Address from Steps 9. (See Photo 1)

13. Under “Username”, type “root” (no capital letter, See Photo 1)

14. Under Password & Port, leave them blank (See Photo 1)

15. Click “Quick Connect”. (See Photo 1)

16. After login successful, click the “var/etc” folder (See Photo 2 &3)

17. Found “CCcam.cfg”, and then right click “View/Edit”. (See Photo 4-5)

18. Paste and replace the line information we sent you, like C:xxxxxxxx, then Click “File/Save” (See Photo 6)

19. Replace the file, click “Yes”, and quit the Filezilla

20. Back to Zgemma Box, Exit all and go to main page and Press Blue Button, Go to “CCcam Info”>”Servers”,

Check if a green button with your line there (Please recheck your line if red color) (See Photo 7)

21. Add-line Installation completed

Please choose either below one for setup, based on your home setting.

A) Learn to update the channel list (For Sky Only, Tuner A) (See Photo 8) 1. Press “Menu” > ”SetUp” > ”Service Searching” > “Auto Bouquet Maker” > “Providers”

2. Change”Sky ROI” to “No”

3. Change “Sky UK” area” to “London Custom”

4. Press Green Button to save

B) Learn to update the channel list (For VM Only, Tuner B) 1. Press “Menu” > ”SetUp” > ”Service Searching” > “Auto Bouquet Maker” > “Providers”

2. Change “Virgin (UK)” to “Yes”

3. Change “Virgin (UK) area ” to your living location

4. Press Green Button to save

Tuner Configuration: For VM User with H2H, H5 ONLY

1. Choose Tuner A,

2. Change Configuration Mode to “Not Configured”

3. Press Green Button to save and click “Yes” to delete it

4. Choose Tuner B,

5. Change Tuner Type to “DVB-C”

6. Find your Netowrk ID on website and type it with 5-digit

7. Change Used service scan type to “Frequency Steps”

8. Check all QAM to “yes”

9. Change Scan Additional SR either 6887 or 6952

10. Press Green Button to save
