WHERE DO I SEARCH FOR VIATOR IN 1SOURCE?
Viator will be available as a Data Source on these Search Tabs within 1SOURCE:
1. Activities & Day Trips
2. NEW Transfers (new search tab)
The existing Transfer tab will also remain in 1SOURCE temporarily and can continue to be used
to search for AOT Transfers in AU & NZ and for all directly contracted STAy Transfers around the
world.
Over the next couple of months, we will be reviewing our STAy Transfer product and re-loading
our key contracts under the ‘NEW Transfers’ tab. We will also be re-loading any non-airport
transfers (e.g. boat transfers) which currently exist under ‘Travelpasses & Point to point’ to this
tab too and ultimately it will be renamed to just ‘Transfers’ and will be a single search tab for all
Transfer product.
Viator will appear in the list of Data Sources in the Extra Search Options as below when you click
the + button:

CHANGES TO THE SEARCH RESULTS DISPLAY FOR VIATOR:
The Price column: All prices in the initial search
results are estimated and will be shown in white
with an asterix (*) which is explained by the text
at the bottom of the results.
Estimated prices are just that, therefore, you
should only quote a price to your customer
once you have clicked the ‘Check
Availability’ button and the price has been
confirmed and displays in yellow.
(See FAQs for more detail on estimated prices)
The Availability
column will always
initially say
‘Unknown’, then will
change to ‘Available’
when availability is
checked &
confirmed.
The Duration column will
always be blank as this
information is not provided by
Viator. You should refer to the
product name for the duration
of product. If it is not stated,
then the product will not include
an overnight stay.
The Party column will always
display the ‘party size’, i.e. the
number of pax that have been
searched for.
The Action
column will always
show ‘Check
Availability’ in the
initial search
results to denote
that availability is
not yet confirmed
Viator will
appear in the list
of Data Sources
and the ‘Source’
column for
searches made
under ‘Activities
& Day Trips’ or
‘NEW Transfers’

TOP TIPS TO FIND YOUR PRODUCT:
There will be a lot more products available through Viator, so use these top tips to find
your product more easily:
Date Range Search – If your customer is not looking for a specific date for
travel, then try searching for a date range to bring back more products as some
day trips will only depart on certain days of the week.
Search Results sort order - STAy product and key top selling Viator product
will be returned in blue at the top of the search results, so look here first to find our
favourite & best-selling products!
Product Name filter - Don’t forget to use this filter at the top of the search
results to highlight certain types of tours, i.e. if you enter ‘Bike’ here, you can filter
your results to only show day trips with Bike in the name as below.
HOW DO I FIND VIATOR’S PRODUCT INFORMATION?
As usual, click the name of the product (in yellow) in the search results and a lightbox
will open which will show all product information as supplied by Viator.
As is normal with all non-accommodation products only two tabs will exist:
1) Overview - This will contain all product information and, at the bottom of the
page, a selection of user reviews & scores (yellow ticks out of 5) as provided
by Viator customers.
2) Rate/Room Info – Viator’s cancellation conditions will only show here once
you have ‘checked availability’ for the product. Otherwise, they will display like
this:

An example of Viator’s product information in the ‘Overview’ tab is shown below:
Key Product Information:
• Child ages
• Voucher Information
• Departure Point
• User Reviews

HOW TO ADD YOUR VIATOR PRODUCT TO THE SHOPPING CART:
STEP 1:
Once you have completed a search and chosen your product, click on the ‘Check

takes place:
STEP 2:
Once the availability check is complete, the following will update:
• Availability column will change to say Available
• The Price is now confirmed and will be shown in yellow (the asterix is removed)
• Action column will change to say ‘Add to cart’
If the product is not available, it will display as below & the product cannot be booked:
• Availability column will change to say Unknown

STEP 3:
You can now add the product to your shopping cart and proceed as normal through the
1SOURCE booking flow.

COMPLETING THE ‘Detail’ SECTION:
Many products will require additional passenger details, such as pick-up or drop-off
hotels to be added in the Detail section. Please always check this & complete all fields.
1) Example of flight details for Transfer bookings:
Note: Some airport transfers, particularly in the US, may not require flight pick up
details to be entered during the booking process. In this case, the supplier will accept
all bookings made through Viator and will provide the service ‘on demand’. The
customer should show their voucher on arrival at the airport to receive their service.
Instructions on how to contact the supplier on arrival will be on the voucher.
2) Accommodation details for Day Tour bookings:
The ‘Select hotel’ dropdown will display a list of all Viator-specified hotels plus three static options at the top:
• Hotel not listed
• Live locally or staying with family/friends
• Hotel not booked yet
You should select either the appropriate hotel from the dropdown list, or one of the 3
alternatives. If you select ‘Hotel not listed’, you should enter the hotel name and address manually into the second set of fields.
VOUCHERS
Your customer must provide either an e-voucher or a paper voucher for their
Viator booking on arrival.
All important information that the customer needs to know, such as directions to the
pick-up location and local contact numbers, are displayed on the Viator voucher, an
example of which is included in the training pack. It will be stated on both the product
7
information in 1SOURCE and on the voucher itself which type of voucher the customer
needs to provide as below.
E-Voucher: Most Viator products accept an e-voucher.
Paper Voucher: Around 10% of products require a paper voucher to be printed out.
E-voucher or paper voucher accepted
Paper voucher only accepted
The link to access the Viator voucher will be accessible from the 1SOURCE
Customer Itinerary document:
Please always check the product information in 1SOURCE and remember to
advise your customers if they need a paper voucher printed.
