HOW TO CHANGE LATEST INFO TILE (corporate site)

These are the Latest info tiles:

NOTE: MPES look after the Crime Stoppers video tile and the instructions for that tile are not included in this document.

Enter the _edit mode https://www.police.sa.gov.au/_edit

Adding a new image/latest info story for Latest Info

Select the Asset Finder

Images for Latest info tiles are to be placed in #12069. Latest info stories are to be placed in #18798.

Adding a new Latest Info tile

Latest Info tiles are now located here (#773419):

To add a new one, click New in the Squiz menu

Add in title, select No for Show in menu and select #773419 for location and press Select button then Create.

Note: don’t make the title too long (no more than 35 characters).

Configure what is displayed (shouldn’t need to change anything):

Select the Related link

Select the Related Image (image to appear on tile)

Save, then click on Content tab

Type in the caption and link into the Summary box – no more than 125 characters.

Click Save.

Change Status from Under Construction to Approve and Make Live.

Editing a Latest Info tile

Select the Latest Info tile you wish to edit

Click on Select button

On the Details page, and place the Status into Safe Editing

Configure what is displayed (you shouldn’t need to change anything):

When changes are complete, under Details > Status > Change? Select Approve changes:

Editing the order of Latest Info tiles

The Crime Stoppers tile is not to be moved. We can only re-order the first three tiles.

Select Latest Info folder (#773419):

Click on Linking icon

Move mouse over titles so that the up/down arrow appears. Hover mouse over the arrows next to the title you want to move then hold mouse down and drag to new position. Home page will display first four live assets.

NOTE: To make sure you do not change Crime Stoppers, always move the unwanted asset (the one you are going to replace) below the Archive Folder first; then move your new asset into position. And always check that Crime Stoppers is in the fourth spot.

Click Save
