In order to cut and edit video footage, the little razor button indicates the oppurtunity to remove or shorten certain elements of the video. In order to edit a particular part of the video, drag the red lined cursor to the part where you want to stop/ start editing, to make it easier for you to find your place efficiently, as you may have been previously just watching When the area in which you want to remove has been chose (edited the start and end of the element you wish to remove out of the video), click on the section where it lights up and press EDITI NG TECHNIQUES

In order to edit a particular part of the video, drag the red

have been previously just watching and/or listening to it. With the
eraser tool still on, click with the mouse on the main body of the
file and pause and do the same when you want to stop, removing that
chunk.
When the area in which you want to remove has been chose (edited
the start and end of the element you wish to remove out of the
video), click on the section where it lights up and press delete
removing it.
