First, make sure you pick the right niche for

your affiliate site.

You probably know there’s “riches in niches”. But

those “riches” will only come from quality niches.

That means a fair portion of your time must be

spent identifying the niche itself. Resist the urge,

tempting as it may be, to grab the first niche you

see.

Instead, shop around, so to speak. Invest some

serious time in finding a good niche for your site.

Having said that, you don’t need to spend

months doing this. You can shortcut the

process. To do that, you’ll need clear criteria.

Criteria allows you to know what you’re

looking for as you review possible niches.

For your criteria, think beyond just a niche that

“is going to make me money”. Go deeper into

specific reasons said niche will allow you to

rake in the dough.

Then, the right niche will be like pornography.

No, it won’t necessarily be sexual in nature.

But like a judge famously remarked when

asked to define porn; you’ll just know it

when you see it. The right niche that is.

examining a niche.

First, are there already affiliate sites in the

niche that are ranking well?

Three to four of these sites is enough. Just as long

as these sites are ranking well, established and,

enables you to then investigate these keywords.

want to explore with niches.

How does the niche do on the keywords

themselves?

Here, niches with multiple keywords tend to be

Also look at individual keywords - seeing which

have good search volume individually and good

combined volume.

look at the products in a niche. Ask yourself

whether the niche’s products sell well - both

generally-speaking and on specific platforms.

You want to know, for example, when a niche’s

products are profitable on Amazon, but barely

Look too, at whether there are multiple product

types and related products.

Often, with products, the more the merrier -

since it means more choices on what you can

sure you can actually make money on

products in this niche.

You’re not doing this (solely) for fun. So make

sure you can get paid in whatever niche you

at. Ideally, pricing will be at least 50

dollars, extending upward even to a few

With content, your aim should be to create

quality content. Don’t half-a** it. No matter

how busy you are.

Take the time to create content pieces that

your site’s visitors will respect and gladly read.

to work to its fullest, as a means of driving

affiliate sales and even (if it’s good enough)

being shared.

There’s a difference between quality content

painting of a girl named Lisa?

painter. Their piece probably wouldn’t end up

“good enough” - for content - usually means it’s

accurate. Your content should be accurate

and well-researched.

Spend a few hours or so, really digging into the

topic you’ll be creating the content on. Get to

your work is clear. This is another of the “good
