This guide is meant for Mac Users who need to format the GFS or W+ into a single partition under Master Boot Record in NTFS.!!Step 1 : Launch Disk Utility found in Applications, Utilities Folder!!Step 2 : Select the GoFlex Satellite / Wireless Plus Drive.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Step 3 : Click on Partition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Step 4 : Select Options and make sure you select Master Boot Record. Selecting others will not allow the firmware to work.!!!!!!

If you don’t have Windows NT File System in your option, you have not installed the NTFS Driver for Mac provided by Seagate.
