                          How to get back to Froyo(Android2.2)  

1 Preparation 

1.1 Before the upgrade, please close the “Fast boot” function first. 

 

     

  

1.2   Get the original software (Android2.2)from Huawei device website.

1.3   Get the special software package(The file size is 1.11MB) 

 

1.4  Prepare  a  formatted  Micro  SD  card  which  at  least  has  512MB 

available space. Make a “dload” directory on SD card. 

 

2 Operation   

2.1 Special package update   

(1) Copy the “ special packege\dload\UPDATE.APP” to SD Card 

“dload” directory.   

(2) Make sure your handset is powered off and then insert the 

MICRO SD card into the handset. Press volume up and down key and 

then power key to upgrade.   

(3) When “Upgrade Complete” appears on the screen, this stage of 

upgrading finished. Then pull out the battery and the SD card.   

(4)  At  last  pull  out  the  battery,  SD  card  and  USB  cable  (if 

connected). Then insert the battery to reboot the handset, wait for a few 

minutes .

Guideline which you could find it from the main software package.
