To insert a page go to the insert, insert page and enter

the amount of pages that you need. In this document I

inserted three pages in order to get the booklet layout I

wanted.

To view the document in master view select the view option at the top of

the screen and select the master page. By using the master page you

can layout the pages that you wish to look the same, for example: borders and logos. To leave the master view follow the same steps. If you have more than one page you can select

double page spread also.

To set a border the best thing to do is to use an auto

shape. In this example I have used a rectangle.

When you have drawn the shape double click and format it how you wish.

To insert a text box you can either use the textbox icon on the tool bar on the left hand side of the screen. Or

you can go to the insert option at the top of the

screen and select textbox. When using both of these ways you need to draw the textbox where you wish for

it to be.

If you wish to use headers and footers g to the view option at

the top of the screen and select headers and footers. Once selected you can enter the

relevant information.

Publisher has a setting that automatically hyphenates the text. To remove this go to tools which is at the top

of the screen and hover over language and then

select hyphenation. When selected untick the hyphenation box.

To adjust the margins of the page in order to make more room on the page you need

to go to arrange at the top of the screen and select layout

guides. Once selected you can change the margins to the

recommended 1.5cm.

To insert a picture you need to select the insert option at the top of the

screen. Once selected hover over the picture option and select from file.

When you have selected this you can insert images that you have previously

saved.

To insert a print screen that you have previously

taken go to the edit option at the top of the screen and select paste. After doing so you can arrange and edit your

screen shot.
