1. Access google via the internet

2. Click on “images” from the options bar

3. Type in the name of the image you require. i.e. cartoon boy.

4. Click on the image you want and then click on the See full size image option. This gives you a good quality image.

5. Cut and paste image into your presentation

1. Click on auto shapes button in the bottom right hand corner of screen. If the option is not there click View – toolbars – drawing. This will make it appear.

2. There are many options depending upon your requirements. For this PowerPoint select Callouts then a speech bubble

3 On the power point screen press the left button of the mouse and keeping it depressed drag the mouse until the bubble is the right size. Then let go.

4 To move the bubble, left hand click in its centre, then move it to the desired location

5 To add text, right click in the centre then choose the edit text option.

There are a few ways of adding sound. This is a way of adding a short clip, called a WAV file, when an object moves or appears. These can be found free on the internet, The sound files for this presentation are included to save time.

1. After you have inserted the objects motion click on the little mouse icon on the right hand side of the screen under custom animation.

2. Click on the down arrow and select effect options

3. Select sound then other sound and then open a folder where you have previously saved the sound files from the intranet

1 Right click on the object and select custom animation

2 From the side of the screen select add effect, then motion paths

3 You will now have some choices of the type of path you want. If you want a straight diagonal path select it and alter the start and finish points by dragging on the little circle at either end.

4 If you want a non linear path select draw motion path. Move the curser to where you want the motion to start from, depress the left button and keeping it pressed draw the path you want the object to take

A hyperlink connects one slide of your presentation with another, simply by clicking on an object on the screen such as a speech bubble or image.

1. Right click on the object you want to hyperlink

2. Select Action settings

3. Click on the hyperlink to button and then from the pull down slide at the side of the box select slide….

4. Then select the slide you want to move to if that object is selected
