Fusible, stiff interfacing $23 per metre (minimum cut length 10cm)

Add structure to bags and straps

    1. Cut the interfacing WITHOUT SEAM ALLOWANCESand fuse it to fabric to give stand up structure to

    bags.

    2. Cut a strip as wide as the finished strap, and fuse it toone quarter of a fourfold strap. Make the strap up as

    normal.

    3. Fuse directly to bag bases to add structureNOTES:

Try to turn the bag from wrong to right side as LITTLEAS POSSIBLE while youre making it, to avoid creasing

    the interfacing.

Cut narrow strips to make fine, fusible boning forseams, and press it over open seams.

Topstitch seams open where you can, to hold theinterfacing securely in place.

Leave a very large gap in your lining the whole ofthe bottom seam if possible to turn the bag through

to the right side when youre finishing it.

Give the bag a really good press (with steam) whenits finished to iron out any creases.

Support and protect fabric from magnetic clips

Offers protection to the fabric when its fused behind magnetic snaps and purse feet, even when prongs aresplayed outwards.

Fuse Vilene S520 over the back of the INSERTED magnetic snap to protect the bag fabric from the back of theclip.

    1. Insert a magnetic clip 2. Fuse a piece ofVilene S520 over

    the back of the

    clip and onto the

    surroundingfabric.

    3. Topstitch around the clip from the right

    side of fabric
