  • Difficulty – Medium Materials

    • Brown textured 12 x12 inch scrapbooking paper • 2 sheets of brown cardstock (one for mounting ) • 1 sheet beige cardstock • 1 sheet handmade paper • 4 bronze metal eyelets • Giraffe print ribbon • Cream and brown hemp string • 2 giraffe patterned beads • Bonze metal letter blocks • Scotch® Tape Runner (for attaching photos and paper) • Scotch® Precision Scissors (for cutting paper, ribbon and string) • Scotch® Wrinkle-Free Glue Stick (for attaching scrapbooking paper) • Scotch® Quick-Dry Adhesive (for letters and beads) • Scotch® Clear Glue with 2-Way Applicator (for gluing ribbon)

    Instructions

    1. Using Scotch® Precision Scissors, trim the brown textured scrapbooking paper so it measures 11-1/2 x 11-1/2 inches.

    2. Using Scotch® Precision Scissors, cut a piece of both the brown and beige cardstock 1/2 inch larger than the length and width of the size of the pictures.

  • 3. Using the Scotch® Precision Scissors, cut a 7 x 1 inch piece of the handmade paper and three 1 x1 inch squares.

    4. Using Scotch® Tape Runner, apply strips of tape to the wrong side of the top, bottom and sides of the brown

    textured scrapbooking paper.

  • 5. Using the Scotch® Tape Runner, apply strips of tape to the wrong side of each of the photos and attach them to the center of the cardstock pieces to form a matte.

    6. Using the precision tip of the Scotch® Clear Glue, attach small pieces of the string in an uneven pattern, alternating between the light and dark color on the long piece and light strings on two of the squares and dark on one of the squares.

    7. Using Scotch® Tape Runner, apply strips of tape to the wrong side of each of the photo mattes. Attach the brown cardstock to the page 2-1/2 inches from the top, the beige cardstock 3 inches from the top and spaced evenly between the sides.

  • 8. Using Scotch® Tape Runner, apply strips of tape to the wrong side of each of the handmade paper pieces. Attach the long strip even with the left edge and 1/4 inch from the bottom edge of the brown textured scrapbooking paper. Evenly space the three squares as shown below. Place the dark string square in the middle with the strings facing vertically and the light string with the strings facing horizontally.

    9. Cut a 6 x 1-1/2 inch piece of the handmade paper using Scotch® Precision Scissors.

    10. Using Scotch® Quick-Dry Adhesive, glue the metal letters centered on the paper.

    11. Cut an 11-1/2 inch long piece of the giraffe patterned ribbon and attach 3/4 inch from the top of the page with the precision tip of the Scotch® Clear Glue.

  • 12. Using Scotch® Tape Runner, apply strips of tape to the wrong side of the handmade paper piece with the metal

    letters. Attach it to 1/4 inch from the top edge of the textured paper.

    13. Punch eyelets into the paper 3/8 inch below the photo on the left and 3/8 inch above the photo on the right.

    Thread a bead through the light colored string for the right side and dark for the left. Feed the string through the holes and tie on the bottom of the page.

    14. Apply a small amount of Scotch® Quick-Dry Adhesive under each bead to keep it in place.
