Today we begin the holiest of weeks
throughout the Church’s year. One of our
challenges, since we know how the story
ends, is to put ourselves in the midst of the
events so we will be able to gain deeper
insights into our salvation.
Palm Sunday is a day of contrasts. In
the first gospel, the people proclaim,
“Blessed is he who comes.’ During the
Passion, they shout, “Crucify him.”
Today, and all of Holy Week, puts before
us the two sides of discipleship: Are we
with Jesus or not? The choice is ours.

Hoy comenzamos la semana más

Regular daily Mass and confession schedule Monday-Wednesday this week. No morning mass Thursday and Friday. No Confessions on holy Saturday.
The office will close at 11:30am on Holy Thursday, re open on Tuesday April 22, regular time

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW: Children and teens receiving First Communion and their
godparents’ rehearsal times are listed on the upcoming calendar.
Children and teens receiving First Communion and their godparents need to arrive ONE HOUR BEFORE First Communion Mass.
DRESS CODE:
Boys: white shirt, dress pants, coat and tie OR white tuxedo (optional). Girls: white dress, veil and gloves are optional.
It is not required for the child or teen to bring a bible, rosary, or a candle as it will not
be used during Mass. However, you may bring these items (optional) and have it blessed by the priest afterwards.

VISTUARIO PARA LA PRIMERA COMUNION
Niños : camisa blanca, pantalones negros, saco y corbata o
traje blanco son (opcionales). Niñas : vestido blanco, velo y guantes son opcionales.
No es necesario comprar una biblia, rosario o una vela ya que no lo usaran en la
misa. Pero si los tienen pueden tráelos y el padre los bendecirá después de misa.
¿Te gustaría ser voluntario el año que entra? Si se siente llamado a ser un maestro o asistente para los niños de la primaria, secundaria, o los jóvenes de la
preparatoria por favor mande un correo electrónico a Margot en [email protected]. Es una gran manera de evangelizar y para ti mismo crecer en tu propia fe.

Divine Mercy Devotion
Sunday April 28 3:15 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Our devotion hour will include Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, the Divine Mercy Chaplet in both English and in Spanish, Blessing of Divine Mercy images and other sacraments, quiet time for adoration and personal prayer, and Benediction.
Jesus told St. Faustina that this Feast of Mercy would be a very special day when “all the divine floodgates through which graces flow are opened.” (Diary 699)

Nuestra hora de devocion incluira La exposicion del Santisimo Sacramento, Coronilla de la Divina Misericordia en Ingles y Español, la bendicion de las imagines de la Divina Misericordia y otros articulos religiosos, tiempo en silencio para al adoracion y la oracion personal, y la bendicion. Jesus le dijo a Santa Faustina que esta fiesta de la Divina Misericordia seria un dia muy especial en que “todas las compuertas divinas a traves de las cuales fluyen las gracias se abren”.(Diario 699)
