Register on HP Inventory Today

With HP Inventory Today, you have the opportunity to become a registered user, giving you a number ofadvantages not otherwise available using the publicview. Dedicated, registered HP Renew partners canbenefit from:

• Pre-selection of your main regions of interest – no needto reselect them every time

• Regional list prices are shown in the price column

• Ability to download current product-availability details and save it to a Microsoft® Excel spreadsheetfor printing purposes. If you take advantage of thisfeature, please be aware that quantities often changeduring the day

You will then be fully authorised and automaticallyregistered within 48 business hours, and can logon afterthat time with no need for further authorisation or e-mailconfirmation.

We treat all supplied passwords as private information,and they will not be stored on the HP site.

If you lose your password, simply register again tocreate a new login and password for site access.

To register as a user, select the upper-middle “register”button and enter your personal data.

Please be aware that your choice of password must:

• Contain eight or more characters, at least two of whichshould be alphabetic and one of which should be non-alphabetic within the first eight characters

• Contain at least four different characters within the first eight characters

• Differ from any previous passwords by at least threecharacter positions (for example, Iwm2dotb should not be changed to Iwm4dotb, but Iwy4cotb would be acceptable)

Searching for products

are viewing, you can easily jump directly to othercomplete product groups using either the hierarchyshown in the left-hand navigation panel or the link at the top of the search result table

The search results include a product number, shortproduct description, quantity per region, and productavailability in business days, plus additional comments.

Please be aware that, if you wish to know whenproducts will arrive at their destination, you must alsoadd the estimated shipping time. In addition, somesearch results show the same products but for differentregions. In these cases, the quantity, availability andother comments indicate the unique attributes for theproduct in this individual region!

To check the availability of products from our fullportfolio – including HP industry-standard and enterpriseservers, workstations, network-storage solutions, surestoreXP disk arrays – you can select one of two searchmethods: via the “find products” button, or via productgroups. Both searches lead to the same result.

• Search via the “find products” button Available in the left-hand navigation panel, thisfunction enables you to search by product numbers,product groups (e.g. servers) or sub product groups(e.g. ProLiant DL Line)

• Search via product groups This function enables you to search by clicking onproduct images found on the entry page, where youcan also create a downloading list for an entireproduct group. What’s more, whichever group you

How to store product information

Please be aware that both of these options provide onlya snapshot of our actual product portfolio. Our qualityproducts are in great demand, so quantities changeduring the course of the day. As a result, most productand quantity details are updated hourly, and daily atleast, and these updates are not automatically reflectedin print lists and download files. Before placing yourorder, please contact your local HP Renew AccountManager, who will be pleased to provide any additionalhelp or information you may require.

HP Inventory Today provides you with two ways to store information:

• To add search results to a printing list, just click the “print list” button in the left-hand navigation column

• To store the information locally, just click on the image of a product group and you can download the necessary information

Product availability and shipment time

The term ‘availability’ explained:If products are presently available in stock (qty>zero),then ‘availability’ provides you with a realistic estimationof the time (in business days) it would take, upon receiptof a clean order, to prepare and/or remanufacture theproduct ready for shipment. When the products are notavailable (qty=zero), then the information regardingavailability will describe a realistic estimation (inbusiness days), of when our products will becomeavailable for sale. For further information regarding thetime it will take to ship the equipment to you, pleaserefer to the ‘estimated shipment time’ on this web site.

The term ‘estimated shipment time’ explained:The estimated shipment time provides you with a realisticestimation (in business days) of the transportation timefrom the factory to the delivery address.

To check how long it will take for the products to arriveat their destination, please check the availability (on aproduct level) and estimated shipment time (in thenavigation panel). The sum of both these times will giveyou a realistic estimate of the total delivery time inbusiness days, assuming receipt of a clean order.
