The Crime Scene Division Accident Reconstruction Team is seeking assistance in locating a black 2000-2003 Nissan Maxima, the style of

which is pictured above, that was involved in an evading fatality that occurred at 238 Preston Street on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at approximately

0506 hours.. The vehicle was traveling west on Preston Street when it struck and killed the victim as he was attempting to change his left front

tire. The vehicle fled the scene at a high rate of speed west on Preston Street, turning in an unknown direction on Maple Avenue.

The vehicle would have sustained significant damage to the front end, specifically to the passenger front quadrant. At this time the registration

plate is unknown. The picture above is for reference and not the actual evading vehicle. Please note that the fog light and running light lenses

on the evading vehicle are amber in color.
