HSC Home Care LLC is a MedicaidMedicare certified home health agency that is located and licensed in the District of Columbia and dedicated to providing home care services to infants children and young adults with complex disabilities in a familiar environment We also operate as a residential service agency in the state of Maryland which allows us to provide home health services in the District of Columbia and in the neighboring counties in Maryland

Focused Pediatric Care Is What We Do Best Our clients range from infants to young adults up to age 21 with complex disabilities that can include developmental delays cerebral palsy or brain injuries We take pride in promoting a nurturing environment of community-based care that enables those we serve to learn play and grow while receiving the medical care they need in the comfort of their home

Our Services Skilled Nursing (RN amp LPN) Our registered and licensed practical nurses will observe each new client to assess individual care needs and then work with the family to carry out a physicianrsquos plan of care Skilled nurses also help teach families about medication management home safety and other issues to encourage independence

Home Health and Personal Care Aides Home health aides and personal care aides with HSC Home Care are trained to recognize developmental milestones and the value of therapeutic play They can perform tasks to help with daily living such as bathing dressing and toiletry needs as well as assist with medication meal preparation and laundry

Well Mom and Baby Visits Mothers are given lots of information during their hospital stay on how to take care of a new baby but when you get home you may find that you need a little help HSC Home Care offers well mom and baby visits to make sure you and your baby are adjusting to being home

Infusion Therapy HSC Home Care offers infusion therapy in the home for children who need to receive medication through a needle into a vein (using an IV bag) Our nurses are trained to administer this type of intravenous therapy to provide hydration and nutrition support or other prescribed medications
