Teoh family lawyer Gobind Singh Deo saidthey had received a letter from her onTuesday indicating that she will be presentto testify in person at the inquest "afterreceiving permission from the Thai authorities".

On Oct 21, Pornthip, who examined photos of the first post mortem, testifiedthat there was an 80% chance that Teoh was murdered. However, sheadded that she would need to go further for a more accurate determination, which led to the second post-mortem on Nov 22.

The post mortem was performed by pathologists Dr Shahidan Md Noor ofthe hospital, Dr K. Saravanan and Dr Khairul Azman Ibrahim, both of TengkuAmpuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang, and Dr Prashant Samberkar, of

Vanezis, in his testimony, said Teoh was conscious at the time of his fall andthere was no proof that he was strangled.

Azmil is also expected to decide as to whether to allow an application byMACC lawyer Datuk Abdul Razak Musa who had asked the court to granthis request to call an additional six witnesses.

Two of the witnesses are contractors who were being questioned at thesame time as Teoh on July 15 last year, while the other four were mentionedon invoices found on Teohs laptop which was seized by the MACC whenthey raided Ean Yong's offices on July 15. -- theSun
