PT Oil Spill Response Indonesia

To boost the country’s oil production, the Indonesian Government has formulated a number of new policies such as the elimination of import tariffs on equipment used in oil and gas production. With favourable oil prices and enhanced recovery methods, many fields originally considered uneconomic are now set to commence production. Much attention is also focused on increasingly deep water offshore blocks, a relatively new development for Indonesia.

Oil Spill Response sees an increasing demand from E&P companies operating in Indonesia for its expertise in oil spill response and preparedness. To promote greater customer engagement with these companies, an Indonesia subsidiary, PT Oil Spill Response Indonesia, was set up. E&P companies with interests in Indonesia can now sign up directly with PT Oil Spill Response Indonesia as a Member to mitigate oil spill response risks arising from different stages of the supply chain. Spill responses require quick access to a wide array of resources for optimal cost management and effectiveness.
