G A R R Y R E E D , I I I Garry Reid, III, aka Trai (left in photo below), participated in an international karate tournament in Orlando, Florida, and racked up medals!! His dojo (martial arts group) left Thursday, October 13th, from Louisville, Kentucky, and drove to Orlando to compete in a weekend’s worth of kicks and punches. Trai brought back four bronze medals in sparring and weapons, and one gold medal in continuous fighting. He had an opportunity to compete against youth from all over the world. He actually defeated a kid from Russia in his final battle. What an awesome experience!

In other news, his dad, Garry, Jr., made it into the Fire Fighter Academy after a year of qualifying tests and procedures. The academy class will last for 27 weeks. Please keep him in your prayers as he trains to be a hero in his community! (Lucian Huguely Branch)

Congratulations to Michael and Dawn Runyon, Jr., who celebrated their 20th spiritual birthday, combined with 22 years of marriage, which has formed their spiritual wedding anniversary of October 12, 2016. They celebrated their vow renewal in Lexington, Kentucky (photo taken at Triangle Park). Dawn and Michael are proud parents of two handsome young men, Tre’Von and Triston. Dawn recently went to work at Assurance, a Christian non-profit organization in Lexington, to “empower individuals to consider beneficial options for pregnancy and sexual health.” Michael is working from home as an IT/business consultant and building his LegalShield business.

They both continue to spread the word through fellowshipping and through their strong faith in God. May He continue to bless them and their family for years to come! The Huguely family extends its love and best wishes (how does Dawn do it?)!!! (Stephen Huguely Branch)

Romeo & Juliette Yesterday

In early October, he visited with the new USC (University of Southern California) Athletic Director and former teammate, Lynn Swann. During his weeklong visit, he also attended his high school’s victorious homecoming (’71, Notre Dame, Riverside, CA) on Friday, and the USC game on Saturday, a 21-17 victory over the University of Colorado. He had lots of fun, stayed with his oldest son, Quentin, and his wife, Alda, for a week, and fell in love again with Lily… (Everee Huguely Branch)

P O T U S & F L O T U S Last weekend, Air Force One stopped by Lexington, Kentucky, so that the POTUS and FLOTUS could party! They were invited to a Halloween party at the home of their long-time friends and loyal campaign donors, the Lucas’s. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough time for Michelle to do any shopping at the popular Fayette Mall, nor did Barack, a huge college basketball fan, have time to observe a U.K. Wildcat’s scrimmage. The POTUS had important Presidential business to attend to.... maybe next year.

Mysteriously, Kentucky senior and junior U.S. Senators, Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul, respectively, who were both sent the invite, failed to show up at the party. Rumors are rampant that their government e-mail accounts were hacked by the Russians. (Their private e-
