Boccia
SOCCIA (BOCCIA WITH SOCKS!)
Rules
1 Throw the white pair (jack) of socks as a marker
2 The player (s) with the plain pairs of socks throws one pair at the white pair trying to
get them as close as possible.
3 The player (s) with the patterned pair of socks throws one pair until they get one pair closer to the white pair (jack).
4 The player (s) whose socks are the furthest away keeps throwing their socks until they
get one pair closer to the jack. The other player then throws their socks until they get
one pair closer.
5 Once all the socks have been thrown, the side with the sock closest to the jack will score
one point for each ball closer to the jack than the opponent’s sock.
6 Please note you can get a score of 1-0, 1-1, 2-0, 3-0, 4-0 etc.. You cannot get a score of 2-
1 as one of the opponent’s socks will be closer. This cancel’s out the second point.
7 The points from each end are then put together at the end of a match and the side with
the higher total score is the winner. It isn’t necessarily the team which wins more ends.

Watch a game
https://youtu.be/-QqzgwgdTlY (9 MINS)
Rules
1 • Polybat can be played as either singles or doubles. • The scoring system is exactly the same as for mainstream table tennis. • Play always begins with the server, who can play the ball of any side. Strokes
can then be played directly or off the sides. The ball must stay on the table surface.
• The aim of the game is to hit the ball over the opponent's end of the table or cause them to play a fault by lifting the ball off the table surface.
• Players can hit the ball more than once before returning it to their opponent. • Players may not trap the ball with the hand or bat and then play it.
2 SERVICE
• For all classes the ball should be hit from a stationary position on the centre line
of the table no nearer to the centre of the table than one bat’s length from the
end line. The action should be a discrete movement with no balking action.
• During service players must strike the ball to hit against any side panel.
• The receiver must allow the ball to strike the side panel before attempting to
return it.
3 THE ORDER OF PLAY
• In singles the server shall first make a good service, the receiver shall then make a good return and thereafter server and receiver alternately shall each make a good return.
• In doubles, the server shall first make a good service to the receiver, diagonally opposite, who shall then make a good return. Players may then hit the ball in any order or any number of times successively.
4 GAMES AND MATCHES
• A game shall be won by the player or pair first scoring 11 points unless both
players or pairs score ten points – in this instance the game shall be won by the
player or pair first scoring subsequently two points more than the opposing
player or pair.
• A match shall consist of the best of five games.
• Play shall be continuous throughout a match except that any player shall be
entitled to an interval of not more than two minutes between successive games.
5 THE CHOICE OF SERVING, RECEIVING OF ENDS
1. The right to choose the initial order of serving, receiving and ends shall be decided
by lot, and the winner may choose to serve or to receive first or to start at a
particular end.
2. When one player or pair has chosen to serve, to receive or to start at a particular
end, then the other player or pair shall have the other choice.
3. After every two points have been scored, the receiving player or pair shall become
the serving player or pair and so on until the end of the game - unless both players
or pairs have scored ten when the sequence of serving and receiving shall be the
same but each player shall serve for only one point in turn.
4. In each game of a doubles match, the pair having the right to serve first shall
choose which of them shall do so, and in the first game of a match the receiving
pair shall decide which of them shall receive first. In subsequent games of the
match, the first server having been chosen, the first receiver shall be the player
who served to him in the preceding game.
5. In doubles at each change of service the previous receiver shall become the
server, and the partner of the previous server shall become the receiver.
6. The player or pair serving first in a game shall receive first in the next game of the
match, and, in the last possible game of a doubles match, the pair due to receive
next shall change their order of receiving when the first pair scores five.
7. The player or pair starting at one end in a game shall start at the other end in the
next game of the match, and, in the last possible game of a match, the players or
pairs shall change ends when the first player or pair scores five points.
ORDER OF SERVICE, RECEIVING OF ENDS
• If a player serves or receives out of turn, play shall be interrupted by the umpire
as soon as the error is discovered. Play shall resume with those players who
should be server and receiver at the score that has been reached, according to
the sequence established at the beginning of the match.
• If the players have not changed ends when they should have done so, play shall
be interrupted by the umpire as soon as the error is discovered. Play shall resume
with the players being at the ends of the table that they should be at the score
that has been reached, according to the sequence established at the beginning of
the match.
• In any circumstances, all points scored before the discovery of an error shall be
reckoned.

Rules
1 The aim of table hockey is to score a goal by striking the ball or puck with the bat through the goal (gap) at the opponent’s end of the table.
2 The ball or puck is played under the screen. If the ball hits the screen and bounces back
toward the server, the serve goes to the other player. Otherwise the serve changes
every 3 points.
3 The winner is the 1st player to score 11 points. The winning score can be greater (up to 21) or less as agreed by the players.
4 During play, players can hit the ball or puck once, playing it direct to their opponent off
the sides.
5 Players should call ‘Ready’ when about to serve. The serve must be played off the sides.

Rules
1 The aim of sitting volleyball is to get the balloon or ball to land on your opponent’s side of the court
2 One team serves (hits/taps) the ball over the net. The receiving team then has a
maximum of three touches before the balloon or ball must go back over the net with
the aim of trying to get the balloon or ball to hit the floor to score a point. If the ball or
balloon lands on the floor on your side of the net before you hit it back over, your
opponent gets the point.

Table Rugby League
Penny/Jar Lid Rugby League Game
Rules
1 The aim of the game is to score a try (4 points) by getting the coin or jar lid to hang over the table without falling off at your opponent’s end.
2 The game starts with the coin/jar lid hanging halfway over your end of the table. You then
have six flicks/pushes to get the lid/coin to hang over your opponent’s end of the table. Start
the game by slapping your hand against the coin/jar lid to propel it forwards. You then can
either push or flick it.
3 To propel the coin/jar lid forwards, you can either flick it using your finger nail from your index finger or push using the side of your index finger.
4 If the coin/jar lid comes off the table prior to the scoring of the try, possession is lost and your opponent gets six attempts to score a try from where the coin/jar lid came off the table.
5 If after six attempts, a try has not been scored. The coin/jar lid is turnover at the point of where
the coin/jar lid finished.
6 OPTIONAL- The try can be converted for an extra two points) if you wish by placing your index
finger under the jar lid and then in one motion flicking it up and catching it. If you do not catch
it, the conversion is missed.
7 The winner is either the first person to go past an agreed score or alternatively, play a timed
game.

Table Football
Penny/Jar Lid Football Game
Rules
1 The aim of the game is to score a goal by moving the three coins/jar lids down the table and put one of the coins/jar lids into the goal made with two socks/tea towels/toilet rolls
2 Starting Position- 5 cm from table edge at you end of the table
3 The object of the game is to move the three coins towards your opponent’s goal. However,
the coin closest to you (see above) has to be flicked or pushed through the gap between the other two using your index finger.
4 Once you are ready to shoot towards goal, you must follow the same rules by flicking or pushing the coin/jar lid closest to you through the gap between the other two and then try and get it into the goal.
5 If you fail to flick or push their coin through the gap between the other two coins or it hits one
of the other coins, you lose possession.
6 The game re-starts with your opponent setting up as for the start of the game.
