The University – originally founded as the State Ballet Institute in 1950 – offers the largest range of study options to ballet students, but curriculum includes contemporary, folk, ballroom etc.
You may wish to dance only, or obtain a higher education degree by including theoretical subjects as well. For future ballet teachers the full Vaganova methodology is now available also in English.

Matura, baccalaureat (exam allowing entrance to higher education) is to be passed before graduating in dance studies. Can be obtained in the home country.

Classical ballet compulsory classes and optional classes in other dance techniques on different levels are available. Stretch and strength classes. Schedule is compiled by the applicant. Accommodation and meals are available within campus, in a student hostel / dormitory for extra charge.
Board and lodging also available on campus; leisure-time activities left to the participants.
