WHAT IS IT? Kentucky’s Fish and Wildlife Commission helps determine the future of conservation by guiding development of the state’s regulations on hunting, fishing and various other programs. This is your opportunity to join the leadership team of this nine-member board. Join us for this nomination meeting. WHO MAY PARTICIPATE? Residents of the 2nd Wildlife District who, for the past two consecutive years, have either: purchased a Kentucky hunting or fishing license; or hunted or fished in Kentucky but were not required to purchase a license. The names of up to five nominees will be chosen at this meeting and submitted to Gov. Matthew Bevin, who will appoint one nominee to a four-year term on the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Commission, subject to Kentucky Senate confirmation. The Second Wildlife District includes Allen, Butler, Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, Hopkins, Logan, McLean, Muhlenberg, Ohio, Simpson, Todd, Union, Warren and Webster counties.
