Principal’s Message All schools talk about the crowded curriculum and the many
demands placed upon them, from community interests and
outside organisa ons. Last year we trialled “Fuss Free Weeks”, as
a way of managing these demands. That meant, during certain
weeks of the term, no performances or extra curricula events
were organised. It unfortunately wasn’t very successful. This
year, we are trialling “Fuss free Mondays”. We are making all
a empts, to not book any performances or any extra curricula
ac vi es on Mondays. School planning has also been taken into
account. The Release from Face to Face program (Prepara on
me for the class teacher) is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays,
keeping Mondays free for students to be with their class teacher.
Monday’s is a library day, but this is when Mrs Hanson and the
class teacher, team teach, to deliver the class program. Monday
was chosen, so all students have a great start, to their week of
learning.
NewFenceinstalledOn Wednesday, Bay and Basin Fencing, came and installed the
new fence. A er overcoming a few challenges with tree roots,
the fence took shape rela vely quickly. In a day, it was up and
almost complete. The following day, they returned to fit the
sleepers.
A big thank you to all who sold chocolates, bought chocolates
and ate chocolates. It was a real community effort.
The biggest thank you, must go to Karla Smith, who was the
inspira on, coordinator and manager of the whole project. A
great achievement, that adds to the safety of our students.
CarparkSafetyThe school has two carparks reserved for staff. Please think safety first when bringing your child to school.
Park outside the school grounds. Excep on to the rule is parents accessing Krea ve Kidz (Before and A er School Care). If walking with your child, please enter by the pedestrian gates.
This supports the safety of your child and the other students.
Signs have been erected, to remind our school community, that your child’s safety is paramount.
Thank you Sonny and Kate Walker for designing and manufacturing these signs.

Fire
We were walking to school on a normal Monday morning.
When we got there, there was nothing there. Just a whole
heap of ashes. I tried to scream but nothing would come out.
BANG! I saw someone run up the big tree. It had a secret pas‐
sage world. I wondered who it was.

Zoo School
As I got to school I couldn’t believe my eyes. The whole school
was a zoo. It smelt like poo. Lion poo, monkey poo and goat
poo. It stunk. I felt annoyed but also excited. When I first
walked in I saw the penguin enclosure and the turtle enclo‐
sure. All I could hear was neh, snap, peacock and lots of other
sounds. I wondered what was going to happen next.
By Madi
As I came to school I saw the school was burnt. I called 911
they came to my school and put out the fire out. The school
was burnt.

Sick
Bing Bang! “No school Mum” I said. “At school everyone is
sick. You do not need to get ready. There are no students and
no teachers.”
By Brodie
Missing School
I was on my way to school. I was feeling very excited because
today we were going swimming. I looked school was not
there. I could hear trees blowing. I felt sad because I wanted
to be a school.

Water Park At School
Boom! Crash! Bang! I couldn’t believe what I saw. A water park
dropped from the sky. Wooooow it was so cool. Iran to the
toilets and put my swimmers on. I ran to the water slide and
slid down. It was so fun.

Bomb
BOOOOOM! Crash! Bang! “What is going on, is that a bomb?”
screamed Jeffery. “It must be because I smell smoke” said
Kanalot. “Mwha ha ha” shouted someone with a deep dark
voice. “Who is that?” said Mr Bonkas.
By Jackson and Sarah
The school I go to has only Kuriboh. One of the Kuribahs names
is Tayla. He was one of the best Roblox players and Niki too.
Niki turned Roblox into a sandwich.
By Corey
School
What! Why? I’m at school, shouldn’t I be at home doing my
morning rou ne to get ready for school. I smelt pancakes. I
hear my mum calling me.
By Ayva.
One day I heard a noise the school was ge ng turned into a
zoo. What about the classrooms. The next day the school was a
zoo.

I was at school and then the work came to life. Everyone
screamed, I ran. I saw a red bu on. I pressed it and the book‐
shelf moved. There was a secret passage. I went in.
