At the Northwestern Basketball Camps, excellent coaches are assisted by Raider athletes to give campers individual attention and the best possible in-struction in the fundamentals of basketball. The coaches and guest athletes will also provide outstanding lectures on the sport and team play.
EligibilityThe camp is open to boys who are going into
grades 5 through 8 next fall. Enrollment is limited.Campers will be put into groups according to their
age level.
Registration FeesThe camp fee for full-time campers is $275. This
fee includes room, board, instruction, and a camp T-shirt.
The fee is $235 for commuters who will eat noonand evening meals at Northwestern College.

ParentsParents are invited to attend the 20-minute awards program in the gymnasium on Thursday, July 16, at 1:30 p.m. sharp.

Kris KorverHead Men’s Basketball Coach
Korver has accumu-lated over 450 wins in his 20 seasons as the head of the Northwestern College men’s basketball program. He is the winningest coach in program history and currently stands in eighth place among active coaches from within the NAIA. Korver
has led Red Raider teams to the NAIA D-II National Championship tournament 13 times, winning a pair of national titles (2001 and 2003) and reaching the semifinals five times. Northwestern is among the top programs in NAIA D-II in both appearances and wins at the national tournament.
Korver has had the privilege of coaching 25 NAIA All-Americans, and Northwestern has been a Scholar Team each of the last five years.
Ben MillerAssistant Coach
Miller is in his fourth season in the Red Raider men’s basketball program, moving to the head assistant varsity coach this year.
Miller was a standout point forward for the Red Raiders from 2010-13. He helped lead the Red Raiders to three NAIA Division
II National Tournaments, two GPAC regular season championships and one GPAC tournament championship. Miller earned All-American honors during his junior year (3rd team) and senior year (1st team) while being voted the GPAC Player of the Year after his senior season. Miller ranks among the Northwestern career leaders in several stat categories, including points (1803-7th), rebounds (915 rebounds-4th), and assists (447-7th).
