When Sandra Hutchens became Sheriff of Orange County, the department was in disarray.

The former Sheriff had been indicted and the public’s confidence in the Department was at an all time low.

In just two years, Sheriff Sandra Hutchens has restored integrity and honor to the department, cracked down on gangs and protected our neighborhoods and schools.

Cities her Department patrols are among the safest in the nation.

Sheriff Hutchens has reduced administrative staff and overhead and instilled budget accountability and discipline, saving taxpayers $52 million, while maintaining neighborhood safety and gang suppression.

With a 30-year law enforcement background that includes serving as Chief of Homeland Security in LA, Counterterrorism Training in Israel and FBI National Academy training, Sheriff Hutchens has the ability, experience and commitment to keep us safe.
