Hells Pizza Lunch – Wednesday 21st September Our second pizza lunch day for the year will be held on Wednesday 21st September. Children will be able to order a snack sized pizza for lunch from Hells Pizza. The cost is $5 per pizza with $1 from each pizza donated towards school fundraising projects. Order forms will be sent out this week and need to be returned by 9am Tuesday 20th September.

Cash only no change can be given and late orders will not be accepted. Lost Property: Please check the lost property box outside Room 6 for any clothing which may belong to you. The lost property will be removed from the school by the end of the term. Also check your child's cloakroom as any missing clothing could have been left there. Thanks. NEEDED PLEASE We are finding that the recent rain has inspired some of our middle and senior syndicate children to play in the mud ……. Therefore we are in need of spare trousers of the larger sizes. If you have some that are not needed any more we would love to have them in the school office.

Community Notices Gastroenteritis reminder from Regional Public Health The winter increase of viral illnesses causing diarrhoea and vomiting has occurred later than usual this year, with outbreaks being reported towards the end of August and beginning of September. This is a reminder about the need for children who are sick with diarrhoea and vomiting to stay at home until 48 hours after the diarrhoea or vomiting has stopped; and to encourage good hand washing and drying. More information on what to do to stop the spread of viral illnesses can be found in the attached pamphlet. This pamphlet is also available on rph.org.nz (Public Health Topics > Foodborne Illness > Gastroenteritis pamphlet).
