Wednesday 24 April An Evening with Dr Mike ShooterOldham Library, 7pm, free Booking essential‘Growing Pains’ is a book of stories. The stories that children, young people and their carers have brought to Mike Shooter in his role as a consultant psychiatrist over a career spanning nearly forty years. This is also Mike’s own story about his battle with depression and how it inspired him help those in his care. Join us for a crucial insight into the struggles of children and young people in distress, and the cry to reform the mental health care system to truly bring lasting change to those in need.

Check out the classic tale of Jack and his magical beanstalk brought to life using puppetry and your imagination.
