WEDNESDAY PRAYER AND FASTING Each Wednesday at Watts, we encourage members to participate in a 24-hour Daniel Fast during which we abstain from meats and sweets. This Wednesday, please pray for gainful employment for those who are unemployed and/or underemployed. TRAVEL WITH PASTOR WHITE Pastor White will be preaching TODAY at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Holly Springs, 208 Grigsby Avenue, Holly Springs, for their Mis-sionary Anniversary Celebration. MID-YEAR CHURCH CONFERENCE Our mid-year church conference will be held tomorrow, July 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. All members are welcome to attend. MOVIE NIGHT Time for evangelism, fun, and fellowship! Join us at John Chavis Commu-nity Center, 505 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Raleigh, for “Movie Night in the Park” on Wednesday, July 17 at 8:15 p.m. Assorted juices, sodas, and snacks will be served. NATIONAL BLACK THEATER FESTIVAL WOMEN’S TRIP Join the Women of Watts for a bus trip to the National Black Theater Festival in Winston-Salem, NC on Saturday, August 3. The bus will de-part Watts Chapel at 8:30 a.m. and return at 10:00 p.m. The cost is $75 per person and includes charter bus, box lunch, a ticket to the play Pooled, dinner, and more! SMALL BUSINESS SEMINAR LUNCHEON Would you like to receive some ideas to help grow your existing busi-ness? Are you dreaming about starting your own small business? If so, join the Human Resources Ministry on Saturday, August 17, from 11:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room. Please register online or in Room 8/10 after each worship service. LIFETOUCH MEMBER DIRECTORY If you elected to receive ONLY the complimentary 8x10 photo, your photo has arrived and may be picked up outside the finance office mail slot today or Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. FINANCIAL ASSISTANT NEEDED We are looking for a Financial Assistant to provide support for the day-to-day tasks in the Stewardship Office and play an integral role in main-taining financial information for Watts Chapel. The Financial Assistant reports directly to the Director of Finance. Responsibilities include processing payments, maintaining cost reports, managing invoices, and have a working knowledge of general accounting and bookkeeping practices, as well as a strong work ethic. Ultimately, the chosen candi-date will help maintain Watts Chapel’s financial health and make sure that resources are used strategically for the building of God’s Kingdom. PARTY WITH A PURPOSE We will celebrate Pastor White’s birthday on Saturday, July 20 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Roberts Park Community Center, 1300 E. Martin St, Raleigh. This year’s theme is “Game Day.” School supplies will also be collected for children in need. Register online to attend and volunteer.

Through Monday, July 29, we will be collecting loose leaf notebook paper, one-subject spiral notebooks, pencils, pens, highlighters, pocket pack tissues, and sanitizers to stuff at least 300 backpacks as part of our Party with a Purpose Mission Project. Donation recepta-cles will be in the main entrance lobby and the administrative office lobby. We will also have a packing fellowship on Saturday, August 3 for backpack distribution on Saturday, August 10. Backpacks will be supplied by the church.
