How use HYSYS in this problem?

-) Assume that properties water can be used as a subtitute for the properties of solution

-) So that, we just need to calculate how much heat has to be transferred to the vessel if 1 kg of saturated liquid water initially at 10 oC vaporized to the final condition at 100 oC and 1 atm-) Basis time : 1 hour

First step Add component : H2OAdd fluid packages : Peng-Robinson

Second step Go to Enter SimulationThen make material stream for water 10 oC at 1 atm, saturated liquid (vapor/phase fraction = 0)Mass flow must be 1 kg/h because mass of water is 1 kgFill in worksheet Composition of H2O = 1 mole fraction

Third step Add heater then double click in heater, give label/name by typing to Name : Heater, Outlet : Vapor Outlet; Energy : Q required

Fourth step Go to worksheetAdd specification at column Vapor outletVapor =1, Temperature = 100 oC, Pressure = 101.33 kPaMass flow = 1 kg/h

Fifth step Go to designIn inlet part, click then choose 1 (material stream named 1)

Calculation results :

Calculation results in worksheet :Click worksheet See in Q required column, Heat flow required to heat the water from 10 oC to 100 oC is 2667 kJ/h

Try with diffeent fluid packages such as SRK etc. then compare

NRTL fluid packages

Assigment :Calculate this problem with other fluid packages such as :SRK, NRTL, UNIQUAC, Sour SRK, Sour PR, Extended NRTL and compare with the calculation which use Peng-Robinson.Which one give results closer to Peng-Robinson calculation
