Who's Who in the Cast . . . BRUCE F O O T E (Emile) has been the leading baritone on the Chicago Theatre of the Air for fifteen years. This past February Bruce was soloist on GREAT MUSIC FROM CHICAGO with the Chicago Symphony on Color TV. His other T V appearances have included forty-eight weeks as soloist on Dumont'a T H I S I S MUSIC and the E D SULLIVAN SHOW. He has ap- peared a s aoloist with leading symphonies throughout the country in Chicago, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Detroit, Cleveland, and Kansas City. Bruce was soloist in T H E MESSIAH with the NBC Symphony a t Carnegie Hall in New York City in 1958. He has appeared in concert and oratorio in New York and through- out this country and in Europe. In 1936 Bruce did musical work for Warner Brothers, 20th Century Fox, and United Artists Studioa in Hol- lywood.

ANN. FOLKE (Bloody Mary) has appeared in a great variety of roles both in musical comedy and drama in the Chicago area. Miss Folke has been seen a s Grandma in another Rodgera and Hammerstein musical, ALLEGRO. Adelaide i n GUYS AND DOLLS, Lady Montague in RO- MEO AND JULIET, Martha i n THE CHILD- REN'S HOUR, among many other roles. A t Cleveland's MUSIC CARNIVAL .he waa as- sociated with such musicals aa MOST HAPPY FELLA, PORGY AND BESS and P E T E R PAN with Martyn Greene. She holds a B.S. degree in Speech from Northwestern University.

Her roles a t the Grand during the past three aea- sons have included both Sarah and Adelaide in GUYS AND DOLLS. Ella in BELLS ARE RINGING, Irene in SAY. DARLING. Lorelei in GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES. Mr. Gwaltney has appeared olf-Broadway in THE SAINTLI- NESS O F MARGERIE KEMPE a t the York Playhouse and recently in The American Heri- tage series on NBC-TV.

BETTY CHAMBERS (Liat) has been extreme- ly popular with central Illinois audiences for her versatility a s a dancer, singer and actress. Her striking performance a s Susan, the deaf mute, in PINIAN'S RAINBOW won her great applause her first meason in Sullivan. Betty i s a talented commedienne and the patrons of the Grand have adored her a s Susan in T H E DES- E R T SONG, Gretchen in T H E STUDENT PRINCE, and Lizette in NAUGHTY MARI- ETTA. During the winter months Betty is a busy professional dancer, appearing a t leading supper clubs and hotels in Boston, Atlantic City, and New York.

ART AUSTIN (Luther Billis) has appeared a s Hines in T H E PAJAMA GAME and Harrison Ploy in HIGH BUTTON SHOES as well as many other roles a t the Grand. A performer much in demand. Mr. Austin has made frequent television appearances, including Kraft Theatre and The Phil Silvers Show.
