Established in December, 2007 All ICT related activities are directly

under this Directorate. These activities include: Establishing and Maintenance of University

University Department/Centre office. Digitization of records. Establishment of Data Centre at University

Colleges/ Departments, Paper Setters, Evaluators & others Stake Holders.

Providing In-house Software Solutions.

Established Software Development Unit for In-house Software Development.

Collaborating with Wipro and Expedien e-Solutions Software solutions developed so far:

Entire Main campus has been inter-connected through Optical Fiber Cables (OFC)

Campus Wi-Fi system operational in some areas of the campus.

24x7 High Speed Internet services available Access to the network is secured by latest

and state of the art firewall In-house Mail and Web Server. Current users - 3661

Facts Development of a dynamic assessment

(examination) system is a global issue. Operational models do not meet the

current challenges Models are developed without considering

the Technological support. Current systems limited to conduct of

examination & declaration of results sacrificing the main objectives.
