keep them in our prayers and try to arrange to visit.

Part of our tradition as a Catholic Community is to remember our loved ones in our prayer and gathering.

Many times, we do this simple gesture of our prayer in the intentions of our masses, published each week in our

bulletin. If you would like to set a special intention for a loved one, please contact the Rectory at least two weeks

prior to the date you would like to reserve. Parte de nuestra tradición como Comunidad Católica es

As we officially end our Holiday Season, we would like to thank you for your support of our various ministries here at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. Everything that is done here at IHM beginning with our liturgical ministers, special masses, church environment and music programs has been enhanced by your con-tinued help and cooperation. El Lunes, 20 de Enero es el Día Feriado de Martin Luther King, Jr. La oficina de la rectoría estará cerrada. Abriremos el Martes en horario normal de servicio.

Okay….where’s he at now…. Well, after Tuesday, I will be away from the parish. I wish I could say I was sunning on a beach in Florida, or visiting exotic locations in Europe, but truthfully, I will be recuperating from my Laminectomy surgery, which is happening this Tuesday, January 14, 2020 around 7:00 a.m. The Doctor told me that it could take up to three weeks until I can return to work. I have been struggling with arthritis issues in my knees but now it is in my back, The stenosis has been cre-ating pain when I stand too long so my surgeon believes this surgical intervention should help to alleviate some of the discomfort I feel and allow me more comfort when I am standing. In the meantime, Fr. John McNalis is graciously assisting with the masses and Fr Gene Gratkowski will help with Spanish masses as well. Denise, our new “Parish Administrator,” will be holding down the fort and knows how to reach me in an emergency. I will check in to keep abreast with messages and other corre-spondence as I recuperate. Please keep me in your prayers. If all goes well, I should be back the second weekend of February. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ok ... dónde está el ahora... Bueno, después del Martes, estaré fuera de la parroquia. Desearía poder decir que estaba tomando el sol en una playa en Florida, o visitando lugares exóticos en Europa, pero sinceramente, me recuperaré de mi cirugía de Laminectomía, que se llevara a cabo este Martes, 14 de Enero, 2020 alrededor de las 7:00 a.m. El Doctor me dijo que podría tomar hasta tres semanas hasta que pueda volver a trabajar. He estado luchando con problemas de artritis en mis rodillas, pero ahora está en mi espalda. La estenosis ha estado creando dolor cuando estoy de pie por mucho tiempo, por lo que mi cirujano cree que esta interven-ción quirúrgica ayudara a aliviar algunas de las molestias que siento y poder estar mas cómodo cuando este de pie. Mientras tanto, el Padre John McNalis estará ayudando gentilmente con las misas y el Padre Gene Grat-kowski también ayudará con las misas en español.
