Grace is a very fitting name for
our congregation because we
love to experience God’s grace!
We are a warm and friendly
family who exist to exalt Jesus
Christ, evangelize the lost, and
edify believers. We have lots of
interesting and enriching things
to do and offer as a church. But
our priorities are to worship the
Lord Jesus Christ, to fellowship
with other believers, to grow to
be more like Jesus, to do
ministry, and to share the Good
News with those around us. I
encourage you to become a part
of our wonderful church.
We need YOU to help us fulfill
our responsibilities and you need
US to help YOU become who
God created YOU to be. I would
consider it a privilege to be your
pastor and I pray you will

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER OF GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH
First you must present yourself for membership during a worship service. Our Pastor will be at the front during the invitation to help you with your decision then you will encouraged to attend a membership 101 class. Secondly you must express your desire for membership through one of the follow-ing ways: 1. Profession of faith: If you have never made a public decision acknowledging that you have or are receiving Christ as your Savior, you will be given that opportunity. After you have made a public profession of faith, your baptism will be scheduled. 2) By statement of faith: If you have previously made a public decision acknowledging that you have received Christ as your Savior, we will be happy to receive you. It will however be necessary for you to be baptized at Grace if you have never been baptized by immersion or if you were baptized in a church which holds a different view of salvation, bap-tism or eternal security than Grace. 3) By letter: If you are currently a member of another Southern Baptist Church, we will contact that church to notify them of your decision to join Grace.

Membership Class — If you recently joined Grace or you’re thinking about joining,
we recommend you attend our membership 101 class. The next class will meet on February 1 at 9:15 am in the conference room.
Celebration Choir - Now is a great time to join the choir! The Celebration Choir is
for teens and adults that would like to use their singing gifts to worship the Lord and lead the Grace Family to worship each Sunday. Practice is on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. and Sundays at 7:30 a.m. The choir sings in the 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. services. See Michael to join!
Contribution statements were mailed last week. If you need a copy and do not
receive it within a week or so, please call the office to verify we have your correct address.
“Live Long & Like It” senior adults will resume having their monthly
meal and fellowship this Tuesday, Feb. 3rd @ noon in the gym. Homemade chili/soups, cheese trays, crackers, chips/dip, veggie or fruit trays. Take your pick as to what you would like to bring. Contact Virginia Moore 455-4146.
Attic Outlet Pantry Needs for February- The Attic Outlet is collecting CANNED
SOUPS for the month of February. Tubs are located in the main hallways for anyone
who would like to donate these items to our pantry. Thank you all so much for
supporting this ministry!

June 14-20—Mission Trip to Townsend, TN Leading day programs for children and family programs for families
July 11-17—Mission Trip to Cincinnati, OH Assisting Red Door Church in outreach, prayer walking, etc.

Money is being collected to help send boys and girls to Summer
Camp, June 14-19. The cost of camp this year is $230. If you
would like to provide a full or partial camp scholarship for a child
in need of financial assistance, please us a special offering
envelope or indicate on your check memo, “Summer Kids Camp”. Thank you for helping us
