PRINCIPLES OF ENGINEERING PROJECT 1.2 The Client Im Marcus Multi-Million Dollar Corporation All around good guy The Problem This building needs Electricity 100 stories tall Business Use only (no hotel or other commercial) In development stage Electrical work ready to start State-of-the-Art Must be efficient Cost Use Must be reflect what the building represents Your Job Each team member will need to research/document the following in their Engineering Notebook: State the Problem (including any constraints and considerations) Brainstorm Possible Solutions (list the energy sources you will research - there should be at least 3) Document your resources and information found during your research - create a reference sheet with APA citations for all information gathered Use a Decision Matrix to determine which energy source will be most appropriate - use the following criteria: Cost Ease of access Complexity of Use Safety Document your specific reasons for choosing your energy source Write a 'blurb' to convince the builder to choose your particular energy source Your Job (cont.) Please note: If any websites are used for your research/presentation, you will need to site them in this way: Under each image cite the domain name, creator, or author to appropriately give credit for that image.
