STATE Will Distribute Descriptive Literature Throughout- the Middle and Northwestern States The Jacksonville Metropolis says when the crowds head for Florida next winter the hotel men of the State will not be able to claim all of the credit for attracting the visitors as the railway officials of the ninny differ routes which lend to this section of the country have already Inaugu- rated a plan of advertising which e of Immense value to the State j Agents of several companies are now in the State and are gathering lufor matlon which will be used in pamph- lets and books descriptive of Florida- Its pleasures and resources Photo- graphs are being collected from every town and resort worthy of mention and Judging from the preparations the approaching season will Pee a greater amount of Florida literature in th hands of travelers than ever before Not alone will the pleasure ot liv- ing In the State dining tin wlntir thoroughly handled bm the commer- cial possibilities of the Stat will lit carefully considered and described with a view to interesting permanent settlers While a generous amount of advertising has been carried on in the past the work has naturally de- pended on owners or proprietors of hotels and resort places and the consequences were that the moneyed classes or those enabled to live work who looked on Florida place to escape a few months of ent I I s with- have devoted most of their time to explain- ing the virtues and values of the Fast Coast the homeseekerf after reach- ing Jacksonville chose their own route if travel and every part of the State was
