Dear Parents

it is with pleasure that i take --for the purpose of riting you a few lines to let

you know where and how I am I am well at present and hope that these few lines may

find the folks al enjoying the same blesing We left Chillicothe on Wednesday andcam to Cincinati stayed ther til saturday night and came to Seymour, Indiana

Sunday morning stayed ther all day in the evening we started for Louisville, Kentucky

arrived ther about two 0 clock in the morning

Stayed att Louisville till Tuesday morning when we 'took - for Nashville, Tenn. wherewe are at present. -- I do not think longer than two days if that long. The weather

is very pleasant here I do not know that I ever see nicer weather for the season

of)the year -- from Louisville I could see the most of the farmers had the nigers out

ploughing the niger woman as well as the man. Tennesee is a very nice country and very

good looking folks that lives in it
