  • Tips used for this assignment:

Tip 1: All of the pictures of butterflies, logos of

musicians, the logo for Harry Potter and the

Police Box were pasted straight from the internet.

Tip 3: I grouped certain images with their

captions to make it easier to move them around.

I also grouped some images together.

Tip 4: I changed the color of a

    hyperlink(facebook) to black.

Tip 5: The picture of the Train song, Drops of

Jupiter, is a screenshot of Pandora.

Tip 6: I inserted a heart shape and made it glow.

Tip 7: I made a word art with my name on it and

    a smiley face.

Tip 8: I changed many picture edges to be softer

so that they looked like they were merging with

    the background.

Tip 9: I inserted several pictures of myself, my

family, my friends, and my boyfriend.

Ideas for using a collage-type assignment:

    1. Students could make collages each

showcasing different genres of literature to

show that they understand what those

    genres are.

    2. Students could make collages of their

families and other things with captions in a

different language to show how well they

know the vocabulary and grammar of that

    unit.

    3. Students could make a collage to show

their background and where they come

    from.

    4. Students could make a collage about a

historical figure to learn more about that

    figure.

    5. Students could make a collage about a

certain group of plants or animals, such as

mammals, or flowers to help them learn

    more about those things.
