I was working as a secretary

I remember the Festival very well. I was working as a secretary 

in the firm of L. Sterne & Co (Refrigeration Engineers). The

Director was called Mr James Douglas (Scottish) and he

designed the hand-drier which was exhibited. I went to see the

Exhibition with friends and again with my parents and was

thrilled with what I saw particularly seeing Mr. Douglas'

invention. I'm so pleased to come and see it again after all these

 years and showing my daughter and grand-daughter.
