Türklerde denizcilik geleneğinin oluşundaki

önemli tarihsel dönüm noktalarından olan

Batı Anadolu’da ve Karadeniz kıyılarında

kurulan ilk denizci Türk beyliklerinden

başlayarak, Anadolu’nun bir Türk yurdu

hâline gelmesinde denizlere açılmanın ortaya

çıkardığı sonuçların anlaşılması sağlanır.

Anadolu Selçuklu Devleti’nin deniz

politikaları bağlamında Anadolu’nun Doğu

Akdeniz ve Karadeniz’deki tarihî bağları

ortaya konur.

Starting from the first Turkish sultanate

established in the Western Anatolia and the Black

Sea coasts, one of the important historical turning

points in the formation of the maritime tradition

in the Turks, it is provided to understand the

consequences of the opening of the seas in

Anatolia's becoming a Turkish homeland. In the

context of the maritime policies of the Anatolian

Seljuk State, the historical ties of Anatolia in the

Eastern Mediterranean and Black Sea are

revealed.

modern period are introduced and information is

given about the use of these sources. Thus, the

place of the documents belonging to the Ottoman

institutions in the Ottoman era in the history of

modernization is provided to comprehend.

Modern works dealing with the history of the
