Personality Development & Motivational Training One day Training on Personality development. Motivation, Communica-tion & Presentation Skills as well as development of Leadership quality, was organized on 07th Oct 2015 at Udaipur H.Q. It was especially organ-ized for the RRIDMA Project team, finance & accounts unit. The objec-tive behind the programme was to develop inherent qualities related to day to day working as well as to build capacity of team in terms of confi-dence building in several aspects. Mr. Yash Deo Singh, a national level master trainer and motiva-tion speaker who has having an experience of 15 years in similar field, explored the qualities of a successful person in his brainstorming ses-sions. How to manage unseen situations, Egoless personality, balance between inner fear and dreams, faith and adoption of system were the main focused sessions with live examples and mental exercises.

A group of 35 members benefited from these sessions.

INNOVATIVE FARMING in DESERT

Khetaram Jaat was living under deprived conditions with lower liveli-hood opportunities and lesser yearly income. He was having 80 Beegha land but the crop he used to cultivate was Bajra only and it results only after good rains. His family was having 02 female members, 02 Male, 04 Goats were reared by him earlier but the fodder availability round the year was also a burning issue. Yearly income was limited upto Rs. 24,000/- from Bajra. Khetaram was provided with series of technical trainings and aware-ness campaigns. After getting project interventions at his farm, his income was raised enormously when 150 fruit plants of Ber generated Rs. 40,000/- Fodder for Goats was available round the year from the Ber WADI. Round the year Water availability for irrigation of WADI plants, domestic drinking and for Goats was possible only due to con-struction of Improved Tanka.

Replication – Other nearby farmers are visualizing the change in Khetaram and started adopting the similar practices on their farms, as well as several Government officials and NGO’s are visiting on the farm of Kheta-ram. Khetaram is feeling proud today as the project has changed the entire scenario of his family. Impact of Project – Improved Social & Economic Status, he constructed a New House and furnished social liabili-ties like marriage of children. Yearly income from IFT comes around.

KISAN MELA An event “Kisan Mela” was organized on 24th Nov 2015 at Badanwara of Ajmer district and at Rajgarh of Alwar district on 01st Dec 2015 under Samriddh Kisan Project sponsored by Mahindra & Mahindra, where 363 farmers of 36 Villages participated.
